“Forged by Fire” Event Highlights Story of the Pittsburgh Building

Date: Wednesday, January 22, 2025 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM - In honor of RPI’s Bicentennial Celebration, the Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter, led by Robert Douglass ’76, ’77G, has researched and captured the history of the Pittsburgh Building! Attend this virtually-hosted session to hear the motivation behind — and the enduring legacy of — the early Pittsburgh-based graduates who left an indelible gift to the students and spirit of the Institute. This event will also include a Q&A discussion.

Live In-Person: Jack Ferver to Share In-Progress New Work in “Dramatis Personae”

"Dramatis Personae" includes short film, discussion, and a live reading by the artist of a section of their in-progress work MY TOWN, co-commissioned with NYU Skirball.

Wednesday / January 22, 2025 at 6:00 pm Dramatis Personae is a combined film and talk program that takes inspiration from theatermaker and choreographer Jack Ferver’s practice, giving audiences the chance to engage with ideas and techniques relevant to their work and new commission. The program frames a live reading by the artist of a section of their in-progress work My Town, co-commissioned by EMPAC and NYU Skirball.
