School of Architecture alumni are invited to attend the first-ever Bay Area RPI School of Architecture Alumni Experience, scheduled to be held from 6PM to 8PM on Monday, January 27, 2025, when Chuck Oraftik ’66 has graciously arranged for attendees to gather at his former firm, HOK Inc., in San Francisco. Assistant Professor Yael Erel and Lecturer Claire Moriarty recently received the Best Project Award for their project Augmenting Reflectors – SPSF Reflector Fabrication presented at ACADIA 2024 Designing Change Conference. This project explores reflecting dynamic light caustics off of augmented mirrored sheets, and manifests a multi-layered design for change.
Erin vonHousen of the Rensselaer women's cross country team has been named the 2024 Liberty League women's cross country Rookie of the Year, while Head Coach John Lynch and assistants were recognized as the League’s top coaching staff this season.
