Annual Global Perspectives Lecture

Thongchai Chansamak and Patcharada Inplang co-founded Sher Maker, an architecture and design studio in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 2018. Chansamak completed his architecture degree at Chiang Mai University in 2008, while Inplang earned her degree from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang the same year and later worked with Supermachine Studio and Studiomake before establishing Sher Maker with Chansamak.

All are welcome to attend this special TWed Talk as guest speaker Dr. Thomas R. Morgan, Senior Scientist with the Future of Computing Institute (FOCI) at Rensselaer, leads a very applied introduction to quantum computing as he discusses the use of the Qiskit toolkit and Jupyter Notebooks on the FOCI Cluster to evaluate Fourier Transforms using the RPI Quantum One.

Ten RPI student architecture projects have been featured in the online magazine Dezeen as part of their Dezeen School Shows, with featured projects including work from each year of the five-year B. Arch. programs at Rensselaer. The school show is a partnership between Dezeen and Rensselaer.
