RPI Sweeps 2023-24 Liberty League Men's Tennis Awards
Aiden Drover-Mattinen and Tsubi Okada of the Rensselaer men's tennis team were named the respective Liberty League Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, as voted on by the conference's head coaches. In addition, Head Coach Jon Satkowski and Assistant Coach Stephane Legris earned the league's Coaching Staff of the Year award.
Four Engineers Ink Professional Contracts
Four members of the Rensselaer women's ice hockey team have each signed professional contracts in a ceremony inside Houston Fieldhouse: Asiah Taylor-Walters is headed to Hungary to play for MAC Budapest, Isabelle Hardy has signed on with the EC Graz Huskies, and Taylor Zahirnyi and Meagan Byrum will both be joining the DEC Salzburg Eagles.
Shay Receives IWLCA First Team All-Empire Region Honors
Midfielder Megan Shay of the Rensselaer women's lacrosse team has received first team All-Empire Region accolades from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). With this first team all-region nod, Megan is now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team.
