ALBANY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's hockey team brought the Mayor's Cup back to Troy on Saturday evening, as the Engineers topped the Union Garnet Chargers by a final score of 1-0 behind a shutout from graduate student goaltender Amanda Rampado.

TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team returned to their winning ways on Friday night, as the Engineers took down the RIT Tigers by a final score of 59-53. RPI has won five of their last six games, and hold a record of 10-8 and 7-4 in league play.

"Large Language Model for Mixed Reality" Topic of FOCI GenAI Users Group
At 6PM on Wednesday, January 31 in Amos Eaton 214, session leader Bill Huang will present the Large Language Model for Mixed Reality (LLMR), an innovative framework for the real-time creation and modification of interactive virtual experiences using LLMs. LLMR leverages novel strategies to tackle difficult cases where ideal training data is scarce, or where the design goal requires the synthesis of internal dynamics, intuitive analysis, or advanced interactivity. Pizza will be served at 5:30PM.

RPI Master of Architecture program updates
Throughout the program’s coursework, students engage in current best practices, advanced building science research and applied next-generation emerging building technology. This culminates in a two-semester program at the school’s Center for Architecture Science and Ecology (CASE), located in Brooklyn’s Industry City, one of the largest business incubators in North America. Additionally, there are course offerings in Architectural Acoustics and Lighting for a more interdisciplinary experience.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team had their four-game win streak snapped at Union Tuesday night, as the Engineers fell just short in a 91-86 loss to the Garnet Chargers.
