From January through May, EMPAC will present a robust slate of interdisciplinary programming — concerts, film screenings, dance, talks, and a two-day transducer symposium — that furthers its mission of gathering artists, thinkers, and audiences to explore the boundaries of art, science, and technology.
Every Day Matters: Giving Back to the Community
In this edition of Every Day Matters, Rafael Cenzano '25, computer science major and president of the Epsilon Zeta chapter of Alpha Phi Omega at Rensselaer, recaps the chapter's fourth annual RPI Service Day. Created to provide an easy opportunity for any RPI student to go into the Troy community and make an impact through community service, the event saw a 40% increase from the year prior, and was able to help a variety of local organizations.

Women's Hockey Completes Weekend Sweep Over Vermont
TROY, N.Y. – Graduate student Amanda Rampado and freshman Aylah Cioffi lifted the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's hockey team to a weekend sweep of the Vermont Catamounts, as the Engineers took a 5-1 win on Saturday afternoon. Rampado made 29 saves, while Cioffi collected three points – all in the third period.

Men’s Hoops Flies Past Skidmore in Big Win
TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team pushed through for their second Liberty League win on Friday night, as they defeated the Skidmore Throughbreds by a final score of 72-41. With the win, RPI improves to 5-6 and 2-2 in league play, while Skidmore fell to 2-8 and 0-4 in the Liberty League.
