Men’s Hockey Clipped by Northeastern
TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team struggled on Sunday afternoon, as they were defeated by the Northeastern Huskies by a final score of 9-2 at the Houston Field House. RPI falls to 2-7-1 overall while Northeastern improves to 3-7-1 overall on the season.
Men’s Basketball Captures Win Over Cobleskill
TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team returned to their winning ways on Sunday afternoon, as the Engineers defeated SUNY Cobleskill by a final score of 65-55 at EVAC Arena. With the win, RPI improves to 2-3 overall, while Cobleskill falls to 3-4 overall.
Women’s Hockey Rolls to Win Over Assumption
TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's hockey team scored three goals apiece in the first two periods before securing a 6-1 victory over the Assumption University Greyhounds at Houston Field House Saturday night. With the win, RPI improves to 7-7-3 overall on the season, while Assumption falls to 4-10-1 overall.
Women's Hoops Collects Records in Win Over SUNY Delhi
Last week, the Rensselaer women's basketball team put up 100 total points in a game for the first time since November 2017 as the Engineers defeated the SUNY Delhi Broncos by a final score of 100-27. With the win, the Engineers improve to 3-3 on the season, while the Broncos fall to 0-6 overall.
Sachi Vines Promoted to Associate AD
Rensselaer Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Kristie Bowers has announced the promotion of Sachi Vines to Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Communications. Vines is currently in her 14th year with the RPI Athletics Department, serving as the Director of Marketing & Promotions since July of 2010.
