Golf Plays to T-8th Finish After Day 1 in N.Carolina

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) golf team took to the course on Monday in Greensboro, North Carolina and finished in a tie for 8th place of 16 teams at the O"Briant Jensen Memorial at the Cardinal Golf and Country Club. The Engineers finished the day with a 305 (+21) on the afternoon.

Men’s Tennis Battles in ITA Regional Finals

MADISON, N.J. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team closed the ITA Northeast Regional on a strong note despite dropping the final matches of the singles and doubles finals. The event, hosted by Drew University, now allows the Engineers to send their finals players to national competition in the spring.

Registration Open for Reembodied Sound 2024 at EMPAC

EMPAC and Rensselaer's Arts Department announce Reembodied Sound 2024: A Festival and Symposium on Transducer-based Music and Sonic Art, to be held February 2-3. The two-day symposium offers public events for composers, sound artists, scholars, researchers, engineers, and audiences to jointly investigate issues of aesthetics, ethnography, technical design, compositional techniques, and pedagogy. All activities are free. Online registration is open through January 19.

Prof. Marcus Carter with OBJECT TERRITORIES recognized by AIA San Francisco

The Carved Terrace Block housing proposal received a Merit Award from the San Francisco chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Prof. Carter traveled to San Francisco for the awards ceremony and to participate in a public forum about the future of multi-family housing and zoning in the city.

Men's Tennis Sends Players to ITA Finals

MADISON, N.J. - The Renssealer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team will send players to the ITA Northeast Regional Finals in both singles and doubles play on Monday, as Okada Tsubasa will represent the Engineers in singles play, while Aidan Drover-Mattinen and Andy Zhu will wear the red in doubles play.
