Mariam Kamara is a Nigerien architect. She obtained her Masters in Architecture from the University of Washington. She founded architecture and research firm, atelier masōmī, in 2014. The firm tackles a wide variety of public, cultural, residential, commercial and urban design projects. In 2022, she was appointed professor of Architecture Heritage and Sustainability at ETH Zürich.
Men's Hockey Edged by No. 10 Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After holding a 2-0 lead after the first period, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team surrendered four unanswered goals as they fell to the No. 10 Providence Friars by a final score of 4-2 on the road. The loss moves RPI to 0-4-0 overall on the season, while Providence improves to 4-1-0.
Big Second Half Lifts Football to Win at St. Lawrence
The Rensselaer football team used a big second half, led by quarterback Jake Kazanowsky and receiver Hayden Faraday, as the Engineers defeated the St. Lawrence Saints last weekend by a final score of 37-7. With the win, RPI improves to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in the Liberty League, while St. Lawrence falls to 2-5 and 0-3 in league play.
Men’s Soccer Takes Down Clarkson
POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's soccer team won their third game in a row, taking down the Clarkson Golden Knights on the road by a 2-1 final score. With the win, the Engineers improves to 7-5-2 overall and 4-3 in Liberty League play, while Clarkson falls to 8-5 overall and 4-4 in league play.
