Track & Field Goes Against Vassar & Williams
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Fourteen individuals and two relays earned victory for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's and men's track & field teams, which competed against Vassar College and Williams College in the Farley Invitational hosted by the Ephs. The meet was non team scoring.
Golf in First Place After Day 1 at Bethpage
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - Joey Harrigan shot an even-par 70 and Matt Buckley went 2-over, 72 to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) golf team to first place after day 1 of the Farmingdale State College Spring Classic at the Bethpage State Park Red Course. Action in the nine-school event concludes on Sunday.
Six-Goal Fourth Lifts Men's Lacrosse, 13-7
CANTON, N.Y. - Joseph Perry made 20 saves, Sean Smith had four goals and an assist and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's lacrosse team scored six goals in the fourth quarter to pull away from No. 6 St. Lawrence University 13-7 in a Liberty League contest at Hall-Leet Stadium.
Women's Tennis Takes All Nine From Herons
GENEVA, N.Y. - Behind multiple victories by five student-athletes, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team swept a Liberty League contest at William Smith College 9-0 at the HWS Tennis Center. The No. 34 Engineers improve to 12-4 overall and 5-2 in the conference, while the Herons drop to 7-10 and 2-5.
