Senior goaltender Amanda Rampado of the Rensselaer women's hockey program has been one of 11 goalies selected as a national semifinalist for the Women's Hockey Commissioners Association Goalie of the Year award. Rampado advances from a watch list of 28 goalies, with voting carried out by a panel of coaches, administrators, and media members from across the country. Three finalists from the remaining 11 semifinalists will be announced during the NCAA Frozen Four in Duluth.

The Rensselaer men's lacrosse program begins the 2023 season on Saturday, February 18, when the Engineers travel to the United States Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut. The contest is the first of 15 for the Engineers, who are coming off a year in which it played in the NCAA Tournament.
