No. 21 Men's Basketball Defeats the Dutchmen

TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team jumped out to a 12-2 lead and the No. 21 Engineers never relinquished the advantage on their way to a 65-49 victory over Union College in a Liberty League men's basketball game at East Campus Arena. RPI, which is now 10-2 overall and 4-1 in the conference, was led by Jonny Angbazo, who scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

Women's Basketball Beats Union to Even Record

TROY, N.Y. - Ashlyn O'Neil scored a game-high 12 points, Heather Converse recorded 10 points and eight rebounds, and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's basketball team made 12 of 23 shots in the second half on its way to defeating Union College 66-52 in a Liberty League game at East Campus Arena. The Engineers improve to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in the conference, while the Dutchwomen are now 3-8 and 1-4.

No. 21 Men's Basketball Loses in First Game Back

TROY, N.Y. - Logan Wendell made 9 of 10 shots from the floor, including all six from behind the three-point line, and the Ithaca College men's basketball team doubled its shooting percentage in the second half on its way to defeating Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) 64-53 in a Liberty League game at East Campus Arena. The Bombers improve to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in the conference, while the No. 21 Engineers are now 9-2 and 3-1.

Women's Basketball Dropped by Bombers

TROY, N.Y. - The Ithaca College women's basketball team jumped out to a 14-point lead after the first quarter and despite Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute cutting the deficit to single digits at halftime, a solid second half led the Bombers to a 62-45 victory over the Engineers in a Liberty League game at East Campus Arena. Ithaca improves to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the conference, while RPI drops to 5-6 and 2-2.
