Down a man for nearly the whole second half of the final period, sophomore goaltender Jack Watson kept the puck out of the net and put up a season-high 41 saves in a 2-1 victory over the Vermont Catamounts at Houston Field House in non-league action.

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - Ellie Kaiser and Maddy Papineau both had a goal and an assist, three others found the back of the net, and Amanda Rampado stopped all 19 shots she faced as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's hockey team defeated Stonehill College 5-0 in a non-league game. The Engineers avenge Friday's 3-1 loss to the Skyhawks and improve to 4-11-1, while Stonehill drops to 7-10-1.

Eric Gotz scored an overtime winner to send the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Men's Hockey team home with a 4-3 overtime loss to the Vermont Catamounts on Friday night in non-conference action at Gutterson Fieldhouse.

Despite a flurry of offense, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Women's Hockey team fell to the Stonehill Skyhawks by a final score of 3-1 Friday evening. RPI finished the game with a 40-18 advantage in shots.
