No. 20 Men's Basketball Advances at WNE Tourn.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Jonny Angbazo scored 18 points, Dom Black had a double-double and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team defeated Centenary University 74-56 in the first round of the Hampton Inn WNE Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Western New England University. The No. 20 Engineers, improve to 4-0, advanced to the final against the host Golden Bears (3pm). The Cyclones drop to 1-2 and will face Framingham State College (1pm).

Five Tennis Student-Athletes Nationally Ranked

TROY, N.Y. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the Division III Men's and Women's National Rankings for November 11, and five Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes are included. The national rankings feature the Top 50 singles players and and top 25 doubles teams and RPI has two men listed individually, including the No. 3-ranked player, and two teams included.

Epic Comeback Win for Women's Basketball

TROY, N.Y. - Trailing by 15 points with just over four minutes to play in the fourth quarter, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's basketball team scored 24 of the final 35 points in regulation to force overtime and the Engineers defeated the Coast Guard Academy 83-78 in a non-league game at East Campus Arena. The win was the first in four games for RPI, while the Bears fall to 1-2.

Men's Basketball Begins Home Slate With Win

TROY, N.Y. - Junior Avery Eugster scored 19 points, three of his teammates also reached double figures, and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's basketball team used an 18-5 second half run to pull away from SUNY Delhi on its way to defeating the Broncos 80-65 in a non-conference men's basketball game at East Campus Arena. The No. 20 Engineers improve to 3-0, while Delhi falls to 1-1.
