Date: Monday, August 4, 2025 - Fri , August 29, 2025 (all day) - The Founders Award of Excellence was established in 1994 to honor students who embody the qualities of creativity, discovery, and leadership, and the values of pride and responsibility at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Eligible nominees must be enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior, fifth-year architecture student, or graduate student in the fall semester of 2025. Nominations should be submitted via emailed Qualtrics Form no later than August 29.

The ISE Department is proud to announce that Dr. Jennifer Pazour has been named a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), one of the highest honors awarded by IISE. This prestigious recognition reflects Dr. Pazour’s sustained contributions to research, education, service, and leadership within the field of industrial and systems engineering. Her career centers around solving complex logistics and supply chain challenges through mathematical modeling and optimization.

Date: Friday, August 1, 2025 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM - This 30-minute information session is hosted by Dean Aric Krause, Ph.D., and will focus on Rensselaer's Systems Engineering and Technology Management graduate degree. The degree is digitally delivered, flexible, and project-based to prepare decision-makers with broader and deeper capabilities in leading dynamic organizations. The session will highlight program details and how you can select graduate certificates relevant to your work to complete your graduate degree. 

Please be advised that HMA will be paving on Tuesday, August 5th, and Wednesday, August 6th. During this time, Cook Drive will be closed to all traffic, with the exception of emergency vehicles, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Additionally, the West Lot will close on Tuesday at 6:00 AM and is scheduled to reopen Wednesday at 6:00 PM, weather permitting.
