Need help but can’t make it to the library? Our Access Services team is now available online through the Virtual Service Desk seven days a week. Whether you’re looking for help searching for an item, accessing your library account to renew books, or reserving group study rooms, you can now chat directly with our staff in real time—no matter where you are. Get the same support you’d receive at the service desk, right from your laptop or phone.

BME Career Panel Nov. 13

Date: Thursday, November 13, 2025 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Join BMEGC, CBIS GPA, and CCPD for a Career Panel. Representatives from Applied BioPhysics, Taconic, and the New York State Department of Health will come to deliver a short talk on their career paths and answer audience questions. Come network with local professionals and ask questions about the hiring process, their career paths, and their fields. Refreshments at 2:30, event starts at 3pm.

CCPD & Wendel Info Session | Dec. 9

Wendel will be coming to campus for an info session with the CCPD on Tuesday, December 9th from 5:30-8pm! Wendel is a nationally recognized innovative Architecture, Engineering, Energy Efficiency, and Construction Management firm that collaborates with private and public entities to holistically approach facility and infrastructure projects. Volunteer With Unity House of Troy!

The CCPD invites students to volunteer with Unity House of Troy as they prepare for their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This is a great opportunity to give back to our local community, support families in need, and represent RPI. Unity House is seeking volunteers on the following days: Friday, 11/21: 9AM-4PM, Monday, 11/24: 11AM–4PM, and Tuesday, 11/25: 9AM–12PM. Altium Designer Certification Workshop, Saturday, November 15th

The Mercer X Lab, in collaboration with the Future Semiconductor Transitions Program, is offering a remote Altium Designer certification course on Saturday, November 15th, 2025. The 6-8 hour long workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. EST. Click the Prepare for an Altium Workshop Mercer X Education Module to REGISTER or email sawyes@rpi.edu. Participants earn an official Altium Certificate and a Mercer XLab PCB Design Badge when completed. An optional design challenge follows the workshop!

Mercer XLab 2025 Take It, Break It, Make It Contest

Mercer X Take It, Break It, Make It 2025 edition is here! You (and your collaborators) can take apart and reconstruct, in your own innovative way, anything that helps you learn: electronic hardware, software, theoretical models. Show your creativity and depth of knowledge by reverse-engineering and then making something new! Fill out the 2025 Take It, Break It, Make It participation form by December 20th. Your video submission is due January 12th. Email sawyes@rpi.edu for more details.
