NSF GRFP Virtual Bootcamp begins April 7th

Date: Monday, April 7, 2025 (all day) - Complete online modules at your own pace. Develop strong application materials for this 3 year fellowship which provides salary and tuition for graduate school. Fall 2025 seniors, 1st and 2nd year grad students in STEM fields that do not already hold a graduate degree are eligible. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required. Summer 2025 Undergraduate Research Program Accepting Applications

Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025 12:00 AM - Fri , May 30, 2025 5:00 PM - The Summer 2025 Undergraduate Research Program is accepting applications as of April 1, 2025. Undergrad students may pursue research as a paid URP assistant working in the labs with RPI faculty researchers. The sponsoring department or faculty is responsible for the financial support a URP student assistant receives, with a matching fund up to $500 provided by the Office of Undergraduate Education. Summer Undergraduate Research Awards Application Opening

Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025 12:00 AM - Mon , April 28, 2025 5:00 PM - The application process for the Summer Undergraduate Research Awards will open April 1 and run through the month, closing at 5:00 PM on Monday, April 28. This program allows students interested in a full time research position to immerse themselves in a topic for a ten-week period, with awardees earning up to $6,200. For further inquiries about eligibility or the application process, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Education at oue@rpi.edu, or follow the link to apply.

2025 Student Climate Survey Launched

The 2025 Student Climate Survey launched by email on March 31, 2025. Your honest opinions about campus life—how it impacts your ability to learn and grow, both academically and personally—are important. You will find your personal link to complete the survey in your email from President Schmidt. Our goal is to achieve at least a 50% response rate this year. Please submit the completely anonymous survey by April 25, 2025.

Grant Application for Clubs & Organizations

Date: Monday, March 31, 2025 (all day) - The 50 Year Club is a group of alumni who graduated from RPI 50+ years ago. They are constantly looking for ways to support students and their activities. To further this goal, the 50 Year Club is opening applications for student clubs and organizations to apply for a small grant.
