TROY, N.Y. – Max Smolinski found his way in front of the net, scoring on a feed from John Beaton in overtime as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team defeated the Clarkson Golden Knights by a final score of 3-2 at the Houston Field House Friday night. With the win, RPI improves to 9-14-1 overall and 4-9-0 in ECAC Hockey, while Clarkson falls to 9-14-1 and 4-9-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
