Rensselaer’s Procurement Services and the Division of Finance are pleased to announce that members of the Faculty Senate, Research community, Procurement Services, and the Division of Finance have been working together to find ways to streamline campus procurement procedures, and that these changes are in place as of February 28. These initial changes, which have been accepted by President Schmidt and the Cabinet, will affect out-of-pocket purchasing methods, the bid threshold, and Amazon Business implementation in OSCAR, as well as improve awareness of the OSCAR Punch-Out buying process.
