AUBURNDALE, Fla. – Senior Ben Koomey started his season off on the right foot Tuesday afternoon, as he pitched six innings, giving up just one run and striking out 12 as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team defeated the Waynesburg University Hornets by a final score of 7-3 in nine innings. With the win, RPI improves to 3-1-1 with their third straight win.
