TROY, N.Y. – A three-run third inning was the catalyst for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team  on Tuesday afternoon, as they defeated the Castleton State Spartans by a final score of 5-3 in non-league action. With the win, RPI moves to 10-6-1 overall on the season, while Castleton falls to 6-9 on the year.
