TROY, N.Y. - Senior Martin Marintchev went 3 for 5 with three runs and eight runs batted in, including a go-ahead grand slam and a three-run double, to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team to a 12-4 victory over Purchase College in the first game of a non-league doubleheader. RPI then took the win in the second game of the doubleheader, topping Purchase 6-2 in seven innings. The wins move RPI to 15-9-1 on the season, while Purchase falls to 9-11 overall.
