TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) softball team set a new mark on Friday afternoon, as they collected their season-high 12th straight win in a doubleheader sweep of Ithaca College by 3-0 and 2-0 final scores. RPI improve their record to 23-5 overall while Ithaca moves to 14-9-1 overall. The Engineers have won 22 of their last 23 games this season.
