TROY, N.Y. - Aided by 12 victories and eight second place finishers, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) compiled 324 points to win the multi divisional Capital District Classic, which it hosted at Ned Harkness Track & Field. Union College was second with 129 points and the University of Albany was third of the 10 schools with 63 points.
