ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Nia Goddard won the 10000 meters, Holly Lauzon was second in the hammer throw, and three student-athletes scored in the 3000 Steeplechase for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's track & field team, which is in fourth place after day one of the two-day Liberty League Championship being held at the University of Rochester. The Engineers have 33 points, which trails Ithaca College (80 points), the host Yellowjackets (65) and St. Lawrence University (36).
