TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's ice hockey team has eight newcomers who began classes with their new teammates and others on Monday. They include seven freshmen and a graduate student who bring the squad's roster size to 31 student-athletes, including five graduate students, 11 seniors, and four juniors. RPI, which is led by head coach Bryan Vines, now features 18 forwards, seven on defense, and four goaltenders.
