MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) golf team followed up a 296 on day 1 with a 294 on day 2 to finish in fifth place in the 24-school Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury College. The Engineers were just five strokes from second place with Babson College earning the team title with a two-day score of 577, including a second round total of 284. The Beavers were 9-over in the event.
