TROY, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) softball swept a doubleheader versus Russell Sage College this afternoon to earn victories in the first two games played on the newly renovated Doris Robison Field. The Engineers, who were ranked #19 in the most recent NFCA national rankings, claimed game one 7-1 before earning a 9-1 five-inning win in the finale.
