Date: 8/7/2025 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM All members of the RPI community in Connecticut, including alumni/ae, current students, parents, and friends, are invited to join us for this special event to welcome incoming students to the RPI family. Each year, the Rensselaer Alumni Association (RAA) holds "Incoming Student Send-Off" events for new students who are starting at RPI in the fall. This is a great opportunity for incoming students and families from the local area to meet one another and current students, to gain insight into getting started in Troy, and to meet local alumni and hear about their experiences and careers. The event also lets new students know they have a support network from their local RPI community! Our special guests will be the incoming students from the Class of 2029 and their families, who are encouraged to bring their questions about RPI. We will be serving an Italian-style buffet dinner. There will be opportunities to meet with RPI alumni/ae and current students who will be happy to answer any questions and share their first-year experiences. Dress is casual.
