Kevin Smith, who has served Rensselaer with distinction for the past 41 years, will be retiring on June 20, 2025.

With a deep knowledge of our facilities and a steadfast commitment to accuracy and detail, he has helped ensure that our academic, research, and administrative spaces are planned and reported effectively to support the mission of the university.
If you would like to stop by for cake and well wishes, please come to the Service Building, 2nd floor, on Monday, June 16th between 10 - 11:30 a.m.
