Date: 8/10/2025 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Join us for the 3rd annual incoming student sendoff as we meet our local first-year students from the Class of 2029 and offer the opportunity to network with other members of the Hudson Mohawk alumni chapter and RPI community! The event will take place at Pat's Barn, a 200-year-old landmark that's part of the historic DeFreest Homestead, built by Dutch settlers in the mid-18th century. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Barn was fully restored and renovated in 2009 due to the generosity of RPI honorary trustee C. Sheldon Roberts ’48, co-founder of Fairchild Semiconductor, and especially of his wife, Patricia, who took the initiative to preserve this rich piece of history. Food and refreshments will be available.
