Ken’s mixed-media photographs are crafted from hand-built paper dioramas, lit like tiny theater sets and captured with a camera. Rooted in childhood memory, his work blends drawing, sculpture, lighting, and photography—an evocative nod to artists from the Hudson River School, the 1960’s German Realist photographers Bernd and Hilla Becher, and Ragsdale’s own memories of growing up in the Pacific Northwest. The show is open Fri-Sun through Aug 31, 12-5 at the Front Room Gallery and by appointment.
