TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team fell 5–1 to No. 8 Quinnipiac University tonight in Houston Field House, a game highlighted by the program's annual Teddy Bear Toss, which saw more than 100 stuffed animals rain down onto the ice from the home crowd in support of the St. Catherine's Center for Children, Ronald McDonald House, and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Region.
