Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2026 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Numerous sites across the country are currently receiving, or have previously received, PFAS-containing biosolids for land application. Such practice could lead to PFAS contamination in receiving soils and adjacent waters, threatening ecosystems and human health. Recently, we investigated the levels of PFAS in biosolid-amended soil, their migration to surrounding surface water bodies, and bioaccumulation in plants near land application sites. Further details provided during the seminar.
