Date: Wednesday, October 7, 2026 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - This Mathematical Sciences Colloquium will feature a presentation titled "Using Gradient Data to Preserve what Matters in Reduced-Order Models of Dynamical Systems" by Dr. Sam Otto. He is an Assistant Professor at Cornell MAE. His lab exploits mathematical structure and data to develop faster algorithms for simulating, learning, reducing, and controlling complex engineering systems.
