Baseball Clipped at Plattsburgh
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team dropped a non-league matchup on the road to the Plattsburgh State Cardinals on Friday afternoon by a final score of 13-3. RPI moves to 13-8-1 overall on the season, while Plattsburgh improves to 5-13 overall.

Prof. Yael Erel Recognized at [d]arc Awards 2022
Assistant Professor Yael Erel has been awarded second place in the annual [d]arc awards for her lighting installation "Reflecting on Troy." This project, created in collaboration with her partner Avner Ben Natan, was recognized in the Art – Low Budget Category and was one of six artist projects selected, commissioned, produced, and funded by the Arts Center of the Capital Region through the inaugural Troy Glow light festival.
Women’s Tennis Topples Bard, Win 5th Straight
TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team swept their way through Bard College on Wednesday afternoon, as the Engineers defeated Bard by a final score of 9-0 at Sharp Courts. RPI improves their record to 10-2 overall as they earn their fifth straight win, while Bard falls to 2-10 this season.
EMPAC Receives Funding from Teiger Foundation for Shifting Center
Exhibition installed throughout and beyond the EMPAC building opens to the public in Fall 2023
EMPAC/ the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center at Rensselaer received a $75,000 grant from Teiger Foundation for the exhibition Shifting Center (October 28–November 19, 2023), which is curated by Vic Brooks, Associate Director and Senior Curator of Time-Based Visual Art, and Nida Ghouse, Curator-in-Residence.

Late Surge Lifts Baseball Over Williams, 9-1
TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team scored seven combined runs in the seventh and eighth innings to close out a 9-1 victory over the Williams College Ephs Tuesday afternoon at Robison Field. With the win, RPI improves to 13-8-1 on the season , while Williams falls to 7-7 overall.
