Men's Soccer Defeated by Vassar

TROY, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's soccer team fell to Vassar College by a 3-1 final tonight in ECAV Stadium. The Engineers outshot the visiting Brewers 14-9 and held an 8-3 edge in corner kicks, but a trio of goals—including two in the second half—lifted Vassar to the Liberty League victory.

Please join the Cognitive Science Department in Carnegie 113 on Wednesday, November 5th at noon for a presentation titled "Mechanisms of Selective Attention during Learning" by Dr. Brandon Turner of Ohio State University. Dr. Turner's research interests include dynamic models of cognition and perceptual decision making, efficient methods for performing likelihood-free and likelihood-informed Bayesian inference, and unifying behavioral and neural explanations of cognition.
