Wednesday, April 1, 2026 5:45 PM - 11:00 PM - We warmly invite you to join RPI's Watch Party for NASA's Artemis II Launch. The event is scheduled for April 1, 2026, starting at 5:45 PM ET in LOW 3051 (please note that the launch time is subject to change by NASA). We will begin with a few exciting short talks/presentations along with snacks and beverages, and there will also be plenty of fun giveaways/goodies.

Side by Side Concert 2026

Tuesday / March 31, 2026 at 7:30 pm The combined forces of the RPI Orchestra and Empire State Youth Orchestra's Symphony Orchestra unite to perform Gustav Mahler's epic Symphony no. 1. The program will be led by RPI music faculty Dr. Robert Whalen, and will also include a performance of Edvard Grieg's famous Concerto for Piano and Orchestra by 2025 Concerto Competition winner Armstrong Wang '27. Professor Saggi Nevo Appointed Director of New Center in Lally

Lally is thrilled to announce the appointment of Professor Saggi Nevo as the new Director of the Center for Management for Ethics in Emerging Technologies, effective March 1, 2026. An Associate Professor of Business Analytics and Information Systems in Lally, Professor Nevo steps into this leadership role to advance scholarship, teaching, and thought leadership at the intersection of ethics and emerging technologies, an area of growing significance in alignment with Lally’s strategic priorities.

RPI Chief of Public Safety Patricia Groeber: A Trailblazer for Women in Law Enforcement

Patricia Groeber, Chief of Public Safety at RPI, was recently featured in “Women in Law Enforcement: Trailblazing Troopers of the New York State Police,” a video highlighting women who helped reshape the profession, including some of the first to serve in the New York State Police (NYSP). In the video, Groeber reflects on making history as the first Deputy Superintendent of the NYSP and the challenges she overcame being among the early female members of the force.
