Date: 1/26/2026 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Join us for an engaging conversation with Eric Westin ’74, M.D., Chief Medical Office, Bicycle Therapeutics, as he delivers the Len and Marybeth Pierce Lectureship. Rather than a traditional lecture, this dynamic event will foster dialogue—inviting students, faculty, and guests to interact directly with Dr. Westin in an open discussion. Dr. Eric Westin is the chief medical officer of Bicycle Therapeutics with over 40 years in oncology research and drug development.

Join fellow RPI alumni and friends for a relaxing afternoon as we explore the Rieslings of New York’s famed Finger Lakes wine region. Auston Tighe ’21, who has toured some of the premier wine destinations across the US and Europe, will guide us through a curated tasting of three distinct Fingers Lakes Rieslings. We will serve pizza for lunch and offer sashimi and pastries as pairings.

Auston Tighe ’21, who has toured some of the premier wine destinations across the US and Europe, will guide us through a curated tasting of three distinct Fingers Lakes Rieslings. We will serve pizza for lunch and offer sashimi and pastries as pairings. There will be two teas available for non-wine drinkers or if you would like to sample some exotic tea. Attendees must be 21 or older and guests are welcome.

Instead of a traditional lecture, this dynamic event will emphasize dialogue—inviting students, faculty, and guests to participate in an open discussion with our distinguished speaker.Dr. Harris is an epidemiologist with the CDC’s Division of Global Health Protection.
