School of Science Arch Field Trip: Museum of the Earth | June 24

Date: Tuesday, June 24, 2025 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM - ALL MAJORS WELCOME! Students can explore 8,000-square-feet of exhibitions that takes visitors on a journey through 4.5 billion years of history. Exhibits include the Hype Park Mastodon, the 44-foot long Right Whale #2030 skeleton and the Coral Reef Aquaria. A one-hour program on Evolution and the Fossil Record is also included. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. Meet at RPI Union horseshoe entrance at 6AM, bus departure at 6:30AM. Return to RPI by 5PM. Sign-up ends 4PM June 23.

Date: Sunday, June 22, 2025 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM - *RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY, JUNE 22* ALL MAJORS WELCOME! Students will have the opportunity to engage with exhibits showcasing dinosaur fossils, ancient artifacts, minerals, and cultural treasures from around the world. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. Meet at RPI Union horseshoe entrance at 6:00 AM, bus departure at 6:30 AM. Bus will return to RPI by 7:30 PM. Sign-up ends 4 PM on June 20.

Information Security Scam

Please be advised of a recent information security scam involving an individual falsely claiming to be an employee of RPI. This person, who has no affiliation with our Institute, contacted a recent RPI graduate and transferred them to someone posing as an immigration official. The caller then threatened to withhold or revoke the student’s degree and attempted to extort money.

Students will be able to view all the ticketed exhibits, including “Encounters in the Milky Way” Space Show, “Invisible Worlds” Immersive Experience, the Butterfly Vivarium, “The Secret World of Elephants”, “World Beyond Earth” Giant-Screen Film and “Life at the Limits: Nature's Superheroes”. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Meet at RPI Union horseshoe entrance at 6:00 AM, bus departure at 6:30 AM. Bus will return to RPI by 7:30 PM. Sign-up ends 4 PM June 13.
