Success Lab: Building Resilience II

Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2026 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Building resilience is a critical strategy in developing a self that is able to tolerate adversity and succeed in difficult situations. While many people can persist when things are easy or enjoyable, being resilient means having the ability to manage distress and to bounce back in difficult situations or environments. This important skill is not something you learn from a book, but from managing the experiences of life.

School of Architecture Co-terminal Information Session

Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2026 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Are you interested in opportunities to pursue graduate studies? Join us for a slice of pizza and a chance to hear about the different master’s degrees that the School of Architecture offers at one of the upcoming information sessions. We’ll talk about the benefits of co-terminal programs and the professional benefits of graduating with a master’s degree. Interested students are encouraged to attend. The co-terminal application deadline is March 15th. Non-Arch students welcome as well!

Department of Defense graduate funding programs information session to be held March 4th at noon

Date: Wednesday, March 4, 2026 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - The National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship provides 3 years of tuition and salary for PhD students in STEM fields; there is no service requirement! The SMART Scholarship for Service program provides 1 to 5 years of tuition and salary for undergrads, master's and PhD Students. Scholars will work in DoD labs during summers and post graduation. Your feedback is very important to the Institute and the school, so please complete the SoE midterm evaluation surveys for all your courses! Evaluations will be available through Friday, March 13, 2026.
