A strong application essay relies on specific evidence rather than general claims. This workshop covers the "show, don't tell" principle and how to use concrete examples and details to support statements about a student's strengths, interests, and goals. Students will leave with strategies for revising general statements into more persuasive, evidence-based writing.

Competitive fellowships provide salary and tuition for masters and PhD students. Juniors, seniors, and graduate students will learn how to find and apply to appropriate programs that will fund fall of 2027 and beyond. The Order is open to all senior engineering students, or those that have graduated within the past year. You must be present at the ceremony to receive your ring.
