AVS Hudson Mohawk Spring Meeting

Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2026 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM - The AVS Hudson Mohawk Spring Meeting will be held on April 29th at RPI. The meeting features a keynote by Dr. Christine M. Mahoney (Corning R&D), researcher talks, and a student poster session. Topics include materials, interfaces, nanofabrication, energy, and bio-inspired systems. Abstracts are due April 15; registration by April 22.

Rensselaer Faculty and Staff In Person Workshop - Reviewing Supported Polling Tools On Campus for Courses or Meetings

Date: Tuesday, April 21, 2026 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - In this workshop we will take time to look at a couple polling software tools that are available and supported on campus and discuss the differences. The tools we will be discussing include iClicker and Slido. We will also take a quick look at the free version of Kahoot! (not supported on campus with license but fun!).
