Change in Faculty/Staff Meal Plan Option

As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline services, changes in meal pricing and offering greater flexibility, we will transition fully to the Community RAD (Rensselaer Account Dollars) system at the start of the Fall 2025 Semester as the primary dining option for faculty and staff.

Summer I & III 2025 End of Term Course Surveys in HelioCampus: Adding Additional Questions to a Course Section (Faculty/Instructor Training)

This is an optional process and only needed if instructors wanted to add other questions than what is on the institute course evaluation. Division of Human Resources Professional Development Seminar- RPI MAX: Setting Goals and Reviewing Results | Aug. 1

This seminar will establish the positive effect of transforming the traditional role of planner and evaluator solely from the people-leader to a shared responsibility between leader and direct report. Leaders will experience how to develop and use effective SMART goals to help them, and their employees track progress and accurately evaluate outcomes. In addition, the fundamentals of an impactful performance discussion and the three phased approach of RPI MAX will be explored.

Division of Human Resources Professional Development Workshop: "Leading from Anywhere”

At Rensselaer, we maintain that “leadership” involves a learnable set of actions and behaviors that is available to everyone. Whether it be leading a particular project or initiative, assisting others in overcoming obstacles and capitalizing on opportunities, or catalyzing co-creation with colleagues. In this workshop, participants will explore the tenants that comprise everyday leadership and discuss the behaviors that define leadership not as positional or based on title, but rather on values.
