Women's Track & Field Has Five Top-3s

UTICA, N.Y. - Emma McGuinn won the 60 meter hurdles and helped the 4x200 relay team to a second place finish and Christine Mallette, who also ran on the 4x200, had a runner-up in the 200 meters, to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's track & field team at the Utica University Holiday Classic. RPI finished fourth in the 11-school event with 70 points.

Men's Track & Field Boasts Two Wins at Utica

UTICA, N.Y. - Sean Shannon won the 600 meter dash and the 4x200 relay team was also victorious to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's track & field team to a fourth place finish in the 12-school Utica University Holiday Classic. The Engineers registered 70 points to finished behind SUNY Cortland (220), the host Pioneers (111), and SUNY Delhi (88). Hamilton was fifth with 42 points.

Women's Basketball Goes Into Break With Win

TROY, N.Y. - Ashlyn O'Neil scored a game-high 17 points and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's basketball team used a 20-2 run to pull away from Bard College, eventually defeating the Raptors 68-33 in a Liberty League game at East Campus Arena. The Engineers go into a 19-day break between games with records of 5-4 (overall) and 2-1 (conference), while Bard falls to 1-8 and 0-3.

Men’s Hockey Suffers 8-3 Loss to No. 2 Quinnipiac

Senior Ryan Mahshie and freshman Sutter Muzzatti each recorded three points apiece as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team fell to the No. 2 Quinnipiac Bobcats by a final score of 8-3 from M&T Bank Arena Friday evening. With the loss, RPI moves to 7-8-1 and 2-5-0 in ECAC Hockey play, while Quinnipiac improves to 13-1-3 and a perfect 9-0-0 in their ECAC Hockey slate.
