2025 Annual Utility Shutdown

All members of the campus community should note the dates for the 2025 Annual Utility Shutdown for Assessment and Repair. Steam outages are scheduled to take place from May 10th -17th. Electrical outages, which are necessary to exercise distribution feeders and test the campus' automatic power transfer switches, is scheduled for May 12th-15th.    Please check the spreadsheet links on the Administration Division's website for specific outage dates and times for each building.

Truths and Myths about Self-Driving Car Safety (Virtual) | April 9

Date: Wednesday, April 9, 2025 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - The RPI Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter is hosting a live webinar with alumnus Philip Koopman ’82G. Professor Koopman is an internationally recognized expert on Autonomous Vehicle (AV) safety whose work in that area spans over 25 years. He has been involved with AV policy and standards as well as more general embedded system design and software quality. The entire RPI community is welcome to attend.
