Burnout is an energy crisis across five key dimensions—physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual. Together, we’ll explore how chronic stress depletes our energy, erodes our relationships, and diminishes our sense of purpose. Through guided conversation and reflection, participants will uncover practical strategies to restore balance, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with meaning in both work and life.

Division of Human Resources Professional Development Workshop: "Leading from Anywhere”

At Rensselaer, we maintain that “leadership” involves a learnable set of actions and behaviors that is available to everyone. Division of Human Resources Professional Development Seminar: "Connect Through Conversations" Part 2. | Oct. 3

These interactions, especially the tough ones, often involve intensely personal feelings (on both sides) that have an impact on the practical outcome of the conversation and the personal connection between the leader and the person. The leader’s level of emotional intelligence—the ability to manage oneself and one’s relationships—is a critical factor in the success of these tough conversations.
